Leschi Kitchen Remodel
For the owners of this 1920's era home, enough was enough. This kitchen had to go. The old kitchen featured many different materials that had been added throughout the years from 50's cabinets to 70's countertops and 1980's sinks and tile. The previous owners had also saw fit to frame in an old screen porch to create a dining room. After a few revisions, the kitchen plans came together beautifully with a new built in banquette in the eat in kitchen, new windows and French doors opening out to the west facing deck. The white, conversion varnished cabinetry and black Paperstone countertops kept the kitchen true to the vintage of the house and the Brazilian slate floor added some modern flair. With their growing family, this project definitely added significant living space and comfort for years to come.
